Bad Karma?
its kinda hard to get over it when i search and search for another job and this past Tuesday I had to pay 357 for both a doctor visit for my little boy of 5 months…since i made over the amount i dont qualify for assistance only low cost health insurance for my kid and that will be set up until April..it sucks! they suck!
I feel your pain. My meds cost me $259 dollars for ONE month. I had to cry and beg my fatehr to help me and to make it more embarrasing – had to explain what the meds were for (depression). How humiliating. And YET – I live out here in SUNNY AZ where ANY Non english speaking jerk who does NOT work, or have papers gets AUTOMATIALLY approved for Insurance for FREE. Yet – the average american who works, goes to school, supports herself and also cares for a parent with cancer, can’t even get an annual pap without shelling out a couple hundred.
Then, to add insult to injury – I discover that getting married this May will (may not) change my ability to get insurance since (technically) after shelling out cash for medical attention – I discover that many insurance companies will go over my records and deem me uninsurable since I have “Pre-exisiting” conditions…….!!!!!!!!
Pre-Existing conditions that would NOT exisit had I been able to get insurance and preventative medical attention years ago.
THESE *SS HOLES!!!!!!!
I FEEL YOUR PAIN – I’ve been gritting my teeth all day about this crap. After all the help I get from my Dad to get me by this month for being depressed (severly) – I realize my Pap is due and my BC is out…………. So screwed and yet won’t be able to (screw) for the next few months unless I can get my fiance to take up condoms (doubt it – don’t blame him either)…..
And for gosh sakes, heaven forbid I end up pregnant and have yet another “pre-existing condition” yet further screwing myself into financial ruin for the rest of my life by never being able to get insurance.
Too bad I only speak english out here!
Good Luck -
